General Description
Medium to large individually made palm stones / gallets. Each 1 kg batch includes 6 - 12 pieces. Generally Speaking - Polychrome Jasper is a beautiful stone with a complex colour mix of greys, oranges, and sandy colours. Often called desert or Picasso Jasper due to the stunning patterns and complex colours. It is believed to have been originally found as early as 2006 close to the Ocean Jasper deposits of Madagascar. The material is graded according to the complexity of patterns and colours. We only select from the top 20% of Polychrome Jasper material which is worked. Polychrome Jasper happens to be Nick May's favourite polished material.The photographs are representative of either the entire stock item offered, else a representative sample of the broader batch. Variation is to be expected across individually selected batches. However, all batches / items within this stock item are fully sorted and selected accordingly to associated grade.
