Within these specimens, needle-like crystals of Epidote a calcium aluminium iron Sorosilicate have been included during the Quartz's formation, creating vivid green inclusions suspended in the milky white matrix. Epidote forms in metamorphic and hydrothermal environments and its presence as an inclusion in Quartz is relatively uncommon, making these combination pieces particularly collectible.
