Unlike normal Salrose (the common trade name for bright pink Cobaltoan dolomite from Congolese deposits, which is calcium-magnesium dominant with only minor cobalt substitution), Spherocobaltite is the cobalt-dominant end-member with significantly higher cobalt content.
