General Description
Amazingly selected crystalline Salrose specimens with a range of colors and crystal sizes. Strangely its mostly commonly considered Pink Calcite or Cobalt Calcite but in fact it is a pink Dolomite. Classic collectible mineral from Congo which is very attractive and very affordable. Specimens can have associations of Malachite or other commonly occurring Copper based minerals but not in all instances. Generally speaking, the color intensity, extent of crystalline exposure and size of the individual crystals determine the grading and ultimately the price. Price is grade dependent.
