One large pocket was found 7 or 8 years ago from the Ambositra\/Ivato area in Central Madagascar,  but we have seen very little to none since then.  This sometimes displays shades of blue  (Bornite content) pink, purple (Covelline), black, and an iridescent patina. The patina varies in both quantity and quality, with some specimens showing partial coatings that reveal stunning white crystals, ranging from small to medium-sized, intricately arranged in dense formations. This remarkable material is a coveted find for collectors, offering a singular addition to any collection.
