General Description
'Amazonite, which is a natural turquoise colored gem Feldspar, is sporadically available from Madagascar. The colour has been decreasing in intensity for a number of years and is often hard to get. However, a new section of the deposit has been exposed and the colour intensity quality appears to be rebounding. The material also sometimes has a white banded like colour distribution. The odd piece may have small specular Smokey Quartz like inclusions else small traces of black specular inclusions.
