A stunning new find in Mozambique / Zimbabwe border region is a beautiful Rhodonite with rich red colours! Rhodonite is a Manganese inosilicate, SiO₃ and member of the pyroxenoid group of minerals, crystallizing in the triclinic system. It commonly occurs as cleavable to compact masses with a rose-red colour. This is the perfect material for the hobbyists looking for something funky to polish on the weekends! All very good grade specimens with only a small amount of the black chromite in association! A very funky range of pieces. New discoveries are always fun, but the deposits are now finished!
