General Description

Peach Moonstone is a fairly new and rare variety of Moonstone. It is a potassium aluminum silicate feldspar. The color is usually a tan brown to a very light peach/pink. This material is otherwise known as orange microcline feldspar. The material has variable levels of colour intensity with veins one some pieces, and others having a shimmer like effect on the standing free forms! Generally Speaking - Microcline is an important igneous rock-forming tectosilicate mineral. It is a potassium-rich alkali feldspar. Microcline typically contains minor amounts of sodium.
