PRODUCT INFORMATION

General Description

This is a new fluorite deposit being mined in Uis, Namibia which has a range of blue, green and purple colours with sometimes intrusive quartz exposures showing on the pieces. Another section of the deposit tends to yield gemmy green pieces with less diversity of colour. This material is mined in Namibia for us, and then polished to perfection in South Africa. The multicolour material is normally referred to as watermelon fluorite due to the unique colour combinations. The green material is less expensive with variable transparency and translucency. This material is often used to product double terminated crystals, tabular points, faceted free forms, standing free forms, but less often we produce eggs and other items. Price is grade dependent. Items are as shown.
