African doesn't yield very large deposits of amethyst however excellent material stems from Zambia. A fair portion of the material is chevron like in nature with similar material coming up from time to time from Madagascar. However, Jacaranda or Violet coloured deposits of large crystal clusters are found near Kolomo but the material tends to be matrix heavy and often having patina encrustations on the specimens. This is a lovely range of specimens which are 100% natural with a polished termination. Price is grade dependent. Items are as shown.
