Brazzaville has recently yields some of the best museum and gemmy crystalline small to extra large clusters of Dioptase. This is exceptionally rare material with similar quality being found years ago from Tsumeb, Namibia. The material is often almost drusy coated surfaces and often associated to yellow gemmy wulfenite crystals. A smaller number of specimens have botryoidal like hollow domes of Dioptase. A % of the deposit yielded specimens which have a brown patina on top of the beautifully green rich Dioptase. Every single piece has been graded and priced according to quality by Nick May.
