General Description
A very funky batch of specimens which have minor traces of red hematite patina! Very attractive and very affordable large stunning natural specimens. Generally Speaking - Red Drusy Hematite Amethyst specimens being sourced in Kolomo region, Zambia. The colour intensity is variable across the deposit, as is the transparency and translucency of the crystals. The red is a natural patina and can be cleaned off but we like it rough and natural! Specimens are quite sizable with the individual crystals being fairly large and often quite impressive. Occasionally the deposit yields exceptionally large crystals or clusters of exceptionally large crystals. Very nice colour with complex vug or plate like specimens. Price is grade dependant.
