Microcline Feldspar is an important igneous rock-forming tectosilicate mineral. It is a potassium-rich alkali feldspar. Microcline typically contains minor amounts of sodium. It is common in granite and pegmatites. Microcline forms during slow cooling of orthoclase; it is more stable at lower temperatures than orthoclase.
Pink moonstone is known from the Congo, but has only come up in very small batches.
Peach Moonstone has started to come out of Madagascar! Peach Moonstone is a potassium aluminum silicate feldspar. The color is usually a tan brown to a very light peach/pink. The material has variable levels of colour intensity with veins one some pieces, and others having a shimmer like effect on the standing free forms!
