General Description
A brand new mix of green beryl (emerald) in a mica / schist matrix. This is exceptional specimen grade material mined exclusively in Zimbabwe for Toprock. The emeralds are not gemmy but rather milky in clarity but have a lovely rich green colour! The material is generally found in fairly large blocks which are then cobbed into smaller more sellable specimens. Each specimen also undergoes extensive high pressure cleaning to remove excess matrix, and to expose the emeralds. Recently we have begun to polish this material with amazing outcomes. We have only done a handful of spheres but mostly standing free forms as to maximise the material use and reduce waste. Price is grade dependant. Items are as shown.Product Data
