Dragonstone is so named because of its location. There is a Hot spring at Tshipise in Limpopo Province (40km from Messina/Musina). The spring comes out of the bottom of a large "Dragon" shaped hill. The Bastite Dragonstone (Red Piedmontite and Green mottled Amygdale Epidote) comes from the old spring mouth area...i.e.; the mouth of the Dragon. Very few people(until now) know of its location, as we have kept it under wraps. It is difficult to find pieces that have both red and green in good patterns, but we have picked very carefully and cobbed them, cleaned them and they have a special matt stone sealer on them to retain colour. These are unusual and quite special.
Each generous piece fills the gift box nicely and weighs approx; 220 grams
