General Description
Silver leaf lepidolite is an amazingly rare and beautiful form of lepidolite which only comes up in very small quantities on the odd occasion! The material has been dubbed silver leaf because it has the most vibrant almost bifurcating leaf like pattern in the material. The leaf life structure have a high silver like shimmer, whilst the surround lepidolite is richly coloured with deep often dark purple hues! This is exceptionally rare and very beautiful material. A rare material mined in Zimbabwe which is a very inaccessible and difficult country to get anything achieved. Economic collapse, and extremely challenging socio-political issues has drastically impacted the people in the country. We continue to support the local rock industry, not only in terms of mining but also in terms of aiding in the establishment of a polishing workshop. Price is grade dependant.
