Stunning Ammonite/s which have variable levels of Iridescences which produces a rainbow colour affect. The often spectacular colour is the result of nacre, the substance that made up the animal's shell, becoming fossilized and turning into a mineral known as aragonite. The colours are produced by light reflecting off of layers within the fossilized shell which often produces a rainbow sheen. Absolutely stunning, always a sought after rare fossil item.
