In 2019, Brazzaville unveiled a treasure trove of extra-large Museum-quality Dioptase specimens, marking a significant event in mineral discovery. These pristine crystals astonished enthusiasts with their gem-like quality, boasting a brilliant emerald green hue and adorned with bright, gemmy yellow Mimetite crystals and captivating botryoidal hollow domes of Dioptase. Tantara emerged around 2020, unveiling its distinct character with Dioptase crystals exhibiting a diverse range of textures and formations. Though less gemmy than the Brazzaville specimens, Tantara's Dioptase continues to captivate with its striking emerald green hue.
