Generally Speaking - Tiger's Eye is a chatoyant gemstone that is usually a metamorphic rock with a golden to red-brown colour and a silky lustre. A Quartz group member, Tiger's Eye and the related blue-coloured mineral Hawk's Eye gain their silky, lustrous appearance from the parallel inter growth of Quartz crystals and altered amphibole fibres that have mostly turned into Limonite. Our Tigers eye mostly comes from the Northern Cape of South Africa. These mini blue high quality gallets / palm stones are manufactured in Johannesburg. Price is grade dependent. Items are as shown.
